Mommy Makeovers are perfect for women who want to once again feel confident with the look of their bodies after they have finished having more children. Every patient is unique and the variety of procedures offered by Dr. Usha MD will provide satisfying results to patients that cannot be achieved simply with changes in exercise and diet.

It is essential that women only begin considering these procedures when the time is right. Women are highly recommended to wait a minimum of six months after giving birth before undergoing any sort of cosmetic surgical procedure. Women should be confident in their decision not to continue having children before undergoing any of these procedures.

Why is it so important to wait? The common misconception is that these surgeries are a substitute for weight loss when in reality, these procedures are used for body contouring. You must have stopped breastfeeding before having a breast procedure performed; your breasts need return to their normal size before they can be surgically altered. However, all pregnancies and bodies are different and this means that recovery times are bound to vary from woman to woman. There’s absolutely no need to compare yourself to any of the actors, celebrities, or models on the front page of magazines. The most important thing is to try and stay healthy after the birth of your child. Remember, there’s no need to rush the return to your pre-pregnancy body, just let things happen at their own pace.
